Dr. French is a highly skilled and experienced vein doctor with over 12 years of clinical experience. He has a passion and interest in treating venous diseases such as varicose veins, and has successfully treated many hundred of patients. He has worked in various surgical fields, including plastic surgery and neurosurgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital as well as experience in emergency medicine, trauma, and general practice.

Dr. French holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, as well as a Diploma in Surgical Anatomy from Melbourne University.  He has also completed a Certificate in Phlebology and is currently completing a diploma of sonography (vascular) . Dr. French is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice, a member of the Australian Medical Association, the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine, and the Australasian College of Phlebology.

Dr. French's is passionate about patient care and evidence based medicine. He uses the latest minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat a range of venous diseases, including varicose veins and spider veins.

In his spare time, Dr. French enjoys staying active by playing tennis, basketball and small triathlons. He is also a dedicated supporter of the Melbourne Demons.
